Life is constant revision.
Great shots, Kathleen. You are absolutely right about the "waning summer." I don't even want to think about that.
Near the summer's end is when I work really hard to stay in the present moment.
Thanks, Oonah! Have a stunning weekend.
The metal bug is neat. Not so fond of the real time ones. Having problems getting the dog to hold still?? :)
She's more interesting when she's moving! :-D
And here, Spring has jumped the gun and is off and running. There was snow on the hills this morning and many, many daffodils smiling in the garden...
I love thinking about how your seasons are the opposite of ours, how the mood there is completely different than here. You are planning your garden as we are putting ours to bed.
Love the goldfinch! I like photos that capture summer like this - and yes, I'm bummed that it's waning away. I do enjoy autumn, but it's always tinged with dread of winter...
I actually like winter, but this waning summer brings my daughter's move into her college dorm. That's the part I'm a bit sad about. The Minnesota girl in me always gets giddy at the first snowfall. But I'll stay in the August frame of mind for now!
